Members of the Tennessee Congressional Delegation Send Letter to President Biden amid Hamas’ Attack on Israel

Nine members of the Tennessee Congressional Delegation sent a letter to President Joe Biden on Sunday urging his administration to support Israel “however possible” and “punish the terrorists” responsible for the attacks on the country that began Saturday morning.

“This violent attack deserves a strong, unequivocal condemnation by the United States. Instead, while the attacks persisted and Israel was threatened, your administration initially issued a statement calling on Israel to “refrain from violence.’ So far, the administration’s response has been far weaker than Israel – a shining beacon of democracy and our most important ally in the Middle East – deserves,” the Tennessee lawmakers wrote.

“While this is not the first act of aggression by the Hamas terrorists against one of our greatest allies, it is certainly the boldest,” the lawmakers continued. “The failures of this administration on the world stage have no doubt emboldened those who would wish America and our allies harm…The world needs American leadership, and this administration has left a void that the New Axis of Evil and terrorist groups like Hamas have already begun exploiting.”

“Over 75 years ago, the United States was the first nation to recognize the Jewish state of Israel and affirm its right to exist. Now, in the face of senseless attacks by Iran-backed Hamas terrorists, we must again stand with Israel and reaffirm its right to defend itself,” the lawmakers added. “The United States of America does not abandon its friends.”

“We urge this administration to support Israel however possible, including by providing any and all weapons and munitions necessary, and to punish the terrorists who did this, along with those who aid them. We must act swiftly and strongly,” the lawmakers concluded.

Both U.S. Senators Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) and Bill Hagerty (R-TN) along with U.S. Representatives Tim Burchett (R-TN-02), Scott DesJarlais (R-TN-04), Chuck Fleischmann (R-TN-03), Mark Green (R-TN-07), Diana Harshbarger (R-TN-01), Andy Ogles (R-TN-05), and John Rose (R-TN-06) signed the letter.

Shortly after the Palestinian militant group Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel, Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu declared his country “at war” and stated the Israel Defense Forces will “immediately use all its strength to destroy Hamas’s capabilities.”

“Hamas wants to murder us all. This is an enemy that murders children and mothers in their homes, in their beds, an enemy that abducts the elderly, children and young women, that slaughters and massacres our citizens, including children, who simply went out to enjoy the holiday,” Netanyahu said. “We will destroy them and we will forcefully avenge this dark day that they have forced on the State of Israel and its citizens.”

On Sunday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said his office is “actively trying to verify” reports that “several Americans” may be among the dead in Israel as well as being held hostage.

The chaos they create and spread globally to the Goys has come home to roost!

I am in agreement with ‘D G’ here. I am not happy with what Hamas did, but I also know what Israel has been doing to Gaza for a long time. We have to stop the blind support of any and all things Israel. To be honest, I find it creepy. We have our own issues here that should be addressed.

Suspect the end goal with this situation is to attack Iran. Israel and the US have been foaming at the mouth to do this for some time now. Maybe this really is their ‘9/11’. An excuse to start more wars. The rhetoric from the GOP leans towards this. The ‘New Axis of Evil’. Lol. The Old Allies of Good conquered half of Europe and turned it Communistic, killed 10’s of millions of Christians in the name of communism, raped and pillaged through the countries they conquered, etc.

There is a war going on in this world and in this country. No guns and tanks so it may not seem as one to the casual observer. There are a lot of different terms I could use here so I’ll keep it simple. It’s globalism versus nationalism. Who are the globalists? The people and the countries. If someone wants unelected global leaders that is their right to want that. I just don’t think it will end well.

Giving the Palestinians the Gaza Strip to control was a bad idea from the beginning. An attempt at appeasement not unlike Obama’s and Biden’s weak foreign policy actions. Time to clean out the rat’s nest that it is.

  4. BE PREPARED

WHERE ARE THE CHINESE NATIONALS THAT THE BIDEN ADMIN HAS ALLOWED TO ENTER ILLEGALLY?
IS THE FBI OR ICE TRACKING THEM?

WHERE ARE THE SECRET CHINESE POLICE STATIONS IN AMERICA?

ARE THESE CCP Nationals receiving housing & training in these locations?
Apparently our US Intelligence is looking the other way.
When the Chinese Balloons flew over America with no intervention, were they looking for targets? No word from our CIA or White House. No consequences for that invasion of our airspace. Biden is so compromised from his corruption in China (& many countries).
I feel like a sitting duck & no government protection. The best we can do is be prepared for the worst. Stock up on munitions. Thank God for our 2nd Amendment.

I couldn’t disagree more. Israel’s treatment of the previous occupants of that land over the last 70 years is questionable to say the very least. We need to shed the “support Israel (Zionists) at all costs” cult and get back to taking care of our own Christian people in our homeland. How many of our TN reps have received money from AIPAC lobbyists? How many are dual-citizens?

To our Tennessee congressional delegation, THANK YOU! We must give Israel full support. Likewise, and to hell with the Obama mindset of appeasement in that area, it is long over-due to eradicate that area of the world of terrorists. Israelites should not have to live in fear. Let Hamas scurry back over the borders to Iran who have been is fully funding their evil ways.

  7. Tennessee reps are just one sick joke after another.
We’re being invaded on our southern border!
